Amsterdam based DJ and producer Dan Dusty is the refined evolution of years spent dustin’ off decks. Now stepping forward in his most authentic form, he channels his full experience, instinct, and taste into a sound that is distinctly his own: dusty and undeniably true house. While digging through crates in his spare time, he brings freshly selected wax to Amsterdam under his Head Moverz imprint. In between digs and gigs he finds home with his OG Records crew. Refining a classic original house sound for the new generation.

He further carved out a strong presence on respected stages including Mysteryland, Straf_Werk, Thuishaven and BRET Amsterdam. Drawing inspiration from labels and collectives such as SlapFunk, Crystal Grooves, and simply true house, he blends uplifting vocals, dusty grooves, and weighty basslines into sets that feel both credible and instantly engaging. His style balances on-trend selections with personal gems and forgotten classics house music that’s authentic, accessible, and delivered with precision. His early musical world was shaped by old-school hip-hop, disco, soul, and funk genres passed down by music-loving parents and later expanded through his own teenage discovery of house. What began with hip-hop enthusiasm evolved into a deep-rooted love for groove-driven dance music, strengthened by an ever-growing vinyl collection and a curiosity for timeless sounds.
